ZPG '22 POP-UP SHOP

Planning for the ZPG pop-up shop event is always an exciting time.

A lot goes into creating the experience from conception to completion.

First, I have to go through my inventory. For me – that is the most important step, because I need to know what I can bring and sell.

Second, comes the actual set-up. The questions I ask myself are: 1. What am I going to do differently than last year (if anything at all)? And 2. What could I have done differently last year that would have helped the experience run smoother for myself and my customers?

Third, I need to know who can help me, because it is a lot of work to set-up, which includes a lot of carrying and a lot of unpacking.

So, for me these three steps are the most important, because it narrows down what I’m going to bring, how I’m going to set-up, and most importantly, who is going to help me execute all of that.

Thankfully, not much changed for the actual set-up of my booth, because I still loved how it gave a “store-like” experience and the aesthetic was still very much on point with my brand. However, the inventory did change quite a bit, actually substantially, but regardless of how much of an under-taking it was to pack it all, carry it all, and display it all, in the end, it looked absolutely incredible on display when it was all said and done.

Lastly, I would like to give a huge shout-out to my friends and my family for the help and support they gave me the day of the pop-up. You all know who you are!

I want to especially thank Joanna and Fabiola for the amazing help they were. We did it, amigas!!!

I have the utmost respect for all the small businesses that attend these events, because it really is a lot of hard work and determination to get it done from start to finish. I have always been one to support small businesses but especially more now being one of them and really experiencing it all first hand.

I feel very lucky and extremely blessed that my brand has gotten such an amazing response and incredible support from everyone and I am very excited to see where it continues to take me!
