I could write a ton of blog posts on birthday party theme ideas…

Here are additional birthday party theme ideas that could potentially spark some birthday party tHeme ideas of your own.

If you don’t think you can figure out a birthday theme for your loved one on your own, here’s my tip: always look at what they like (that even includes pets!), where they’d like to travel to (Paris or any beach destination is always an incredible birthday theme), heck – even their favorite designer brand will work as a theme! It is pretty simple and if you really can’t figure anything out at this point – you can never go wrong with a color birthday theme (in case you haven’t noticed my favorite color is pink and a pink themed birthday party would make me happy for any birthday).  

Some of my favorite birthday themes that can be re-used again and again are: 

For your fashionista – throw a designer themed birthday party and if you would like to re-use the idea you can also throw in decorations from their dream destinations, such as Paris.

For truly any birthday age but in this case for your newly turned twenty-one-year-old – you can never go wrong with a Viva Las Vegas themed birthday party.

However, I want to reiterate, if you feel stuck – throw a color themed birthday party! This will always be a hit and no – it’s not just appropriate for baby showers; it’s a perfect theme for a birthday, too.

Once again the steps are similar from Part I:

1. Theme Birthday Cake

• Support your local baker by looking them up on Instagram or Yelp.

• All cakes pictured were made by the talented AlexsDessertCreations located in NJ.

2. Theme birthday Decorations

• Most of the decoration items that you would like to use can be found on Amazon, your local Party City store or their online website for convenience.

• I also like to look for décor on Etsy to support small businesses. For example: unique balloons, cake toppers, back drops etc.

• Pro Tip: purchase Theme costumes. you can never have too many decorations, even if you’re One of them! ;)
